Most people in here seem to like (or hate) the new hit detection. But personally, I have not noticed any improvements to hit detection whatsoever to be honest. At least not for my hits, but I'm getting killed much quicker than before. It feels like only 2/3 of my hits actually register (has been like that prior to 1.6 too).
That got me thinking. Maybe it is just me and my somewhat poor connection (though, which is fine when playing any other game on my PC), or maybe it even has something to do with me being a M/KB user?
So, I'd like to know if it's just me or if other people are experiencing the same strange hit detection behaviour right now and if it might even be a M/KB specific issue?

My aim is rather good and prior to 1.6 the issue was not that important to me because hit detection was somewhat off for everyone. But for the last couple of days it's become more and more obvious for me that there is a disparity between my ability to hit people and other people being able to hit me with almost every shot.
So I'm just trying to gather some data and see what causes this problem.

The hit detection with the mouse is lower, has been like that since Uprising. Is just a lot more obvious now because the Aim-assist in the DS3.
In case you didn't notice CCP has been trying to eliminate the KB/M player-base for few months. They are nearly there. |

Might be your region.
For several months in BO2 I was being put into matches with people in Puerto Rico. I live in Northern Virginia. Not to mention, their connections were much worse. So the game was almost unplayable for 6 months.
Madness is the emergency exit. You can just step outside, and close the door on all those dreadful things that happened.

Can't put my finger on exactly what feels wrong but KB/M seems even more shocking this patch, it feels like their Anti-Aim Assist emulator has been made even worse and everyones hit box is so small I can't move the mouse slow enough to aim at it, I'm actually going negative half the time i play now on foot, I used to average a minimum of 20 kills a match with no deaths. |

Interesting. It's opposite on the ds3.
Everyone's hotbox seems to have gotten bigger to me. I have times that I know FOR SURE that I missed the guy with the shotgun but ended up hitting them. It's weird
