          Just wait for 1.7, I believe the flood of tears would be so massive that the hamsters will drown in tears, crashing tranquility. Seriously, all the AR's seem like a better deal than the Gal AR. Heck the SCR is already a huge beast, 3 shots to kill someone, 24 to overheat, seems legit. And it will get a +30m range increase in 1.7 lolz.
 
  Now, a moment of silence for the AR. I will miss you bud, but you got replaced :(

          CAT all guns need their damage tuned down not just the AR. Now HD works (yay) everyone is dropping way to fast (boo) spending more time looking at a spawn screen than gameplay because u poke ur head out to see what's going on or trying to push a defended objective (now impossible due to map design) leads to boring stop start gameplay not awsome intense gun fights like we used to get

I support that, but that doesn't mean the AR is the reason for that.

          Sorry misunderstanding I agree post 1.7 the AR will be ok in fact I thinj the AR was always ok it's just most dust players suck :-P

          AR is the easiest weapon to use. ANd it's suppose to be, but I don't think it should be killing in .8 seconds just to make it easier on sucky players. I personally use the scrambler rifle, 1 shotting most people, other guys take like 1 charged shot and 6-8 uncharged shots.

          What really needs to be the situation with all of the Rifles is mutually exclusive optimal ranges and falloff profiles.
  An AR should be more powerful than an HMG up close, but with a much worse falloff. A CR/SCR should be very good in the mid-range, but worse than an AR up close and worse than an RR further away. An RR should be the best light rifle (not including Sniper Rifles) at long range, but much worse up close. 
  We know that damage can fall of the close you get (looking at you LR!) so that should, ideally, be the balancing factor. Each rifle should have it's range to shine in while not being completely gimped at others but also not outshining them. A CR should be worse up close than an AR, for example, but a CR catching an AR at mid-range should tear them up.
  Edit: Also, damage should be scaled back in general so that the time-to-kill is not ridiculously short. |

SCR > AR I already switched.

          Just need to limit damage mods to one per suit and roll back 10% buff on most guns. Also change assault suit bonus to 2% light weapon dmg per level so assaults get a decent bonus.

What else am I going to put on my GalAss? Scan range for a completely broken mechanic that was made even more useless by active scanners?

  The HMG should outgun any gun save the plasma cannon in dust. Look up a Browning automatic rifle or B.A.R and then look up an a/r aka M-16. The a/r is more accurate at distance but the B.A.R is way more ppowerful. Now, imagine the B.A.R as having rotating barrels that shoot hundreds of rounds per minute. At close range the HMG should own.
