On PS4 launch day I say we're doing damn well.

If we get back to 4k next tuesday then we can write off PS4 launch being a minor impact.

That's fine but the reason we play this game is because it wasn't CoD.

You had choices in fittings, battles (tho severely limited) you could roll a bunch of different classes even.

Now that the core mechanics work we end up with a twitchy cod clone that had two suit options: brick tank proto bear or damage modded bpo suits both of which die when you sneeze at them.

This is not what DUST was built as, was lightly advertised as, nor what I hope it remains, because if a wanted twichy low impact shooting, there's CoD abd BF.

I and remember quoting that GTA had like a month of content.

I see you've done incorrect math again. Or at least assumed improper statistics. Are you begging so hard to stay on the CPM that you'd say anything just to rally the crowd? You can't assume a linear fall off from an instant change in a system.

For example: You have system A, which includes player base Ap and gaming system Ag. Now you introduce a new system, system B, with the same player base Ap and new gaming system Bg. You'll get an exponential function as the change is made. In this case you should see an exponential drop off if system B is better and the playerbase moves from system A -> B.

This implies that you'll see a very small change initially. And gradually over a "long" period of time the change between systems will become evident. But it is slowly and gradually increasing. Just because there are 4k people playing next tuesday doesn't mean the PS4 had a minor impact. In fact you can't say much about it other than it is not statistically significant in numbers to say whether or not PS4 had a minor or major impact.
