Or are we stuck with this camera through 1.7 when you remove assault drop ships.
Then we wait 1-3 months for assault ds to return only to find it still has this horrible camera setting?
You do want people to fly these things, right? |

There's a two part issue that needs resolved to balance vehicles in 1.7
First is the assault dropship camera (and camera for dropships in general)
Second is the turret aim-resetting bug which is larger on the Armor ships. The inability of gunners to aim out the lower front quadrant of the ship since UPRISING destroys gunner and pilot synergy. That's like a 6 month bug now. . |

I did not see anything posted about these words that thee haft spoketh. There is great disparity in the DS community about the prefered view. Has there been any consultation or are these words; your words? Is there a thread somewhere I can review?

Your questions unfortunately contain the answers you seek... EVE Dust 514 is a LAND-based game that offers at least one AIR vehicle, but has given players leeway to use the imagination that we are barnstorming dogfighting fighter pilots who deserve the applause and audience that Tom Cruise and Eddie Ric' got.
...Those pilots had, err (expansive?) egos, cuz they had the fighter planes to earn an ego with. We DS drivers, well... we forget that we DON'T have a fighter plane to justify our PILOT's PRIDE in ourselves (we drive an empty bus), and that 'flying' is not the primary star of the game.
We CAN be proud that we mastered such a devilish vehicle to drive, but well, it's kind of embarassing that we let that cause us to think THAT highly of ourselves, demand THAT much proprietary attention from the devs, and too often DON'T speak for a fair consensus of the whole DS driver community.
The Assault DS airmen (SOME of them, not all) say "WE NEED" a camera change to suit that gun under the chin... but does is help or hamper GENERAL transport drivers?
The Transport DS airmen (SOME, not all) say "THERE MUST BE" a kick-button to rid the ship of unwanted persons.
The Patch-analyst DS airmen say "THE NEW PATCH'S CONTROLS ARE BROKEN AND MUST RETURN TO 1.'X' version at once, OR WE'LL ORGANIZE A PETITION!",... even though some of us suspect "controls" haven't been changed at all since 1.3, and those players' own perceptions are playing tricks on them.
The admirals used to say, "a navy pilot's head is so big, you can barely get him to fit through the door".
Many of us DS "pilots" have soooo many personal perceptions, that I'm afraid we will never be able to fit a useful collection of objective ideas into a single room.
I've seen some of your vids, Judge. Maybe you have the organized head to help fix this problem. LOL, I certainly don't want to try. A fully-squadroned aircraft carrier has fewer egos on board than the air above our tiny Dust map. |

I don't expect CCP to fix any issue that isn't related/helpful to the Assault Rifle.
