When you increase probability to hit, what implications does this have on the True DPS? => True DPS converges (non-linearly) toward weapon DPS.
Example: Patch 1.6 AR This weapon has never had any significant recoil. Point and spray without any drawbacks. Logical thing to do design wise here is to balance the now working hit detection by reducing weapon dps. That in turn will reduce the True DPS.
Why was this not in the patch? At least the 10% dmg increase from the beginning of uprising should have been lifted from the game.

Why not touch the scrambler? I love it too, but it's getting to the point where I feel almost bad for using the thing.

But on a serious note. Please fix the TTK! Cant believe a 10% dmg reduction hot fix hasnt been done yet. It was quick to take the decision and hotfix the bad hit detection when uprising came out, why does it take so much time now?

Won't a 10% damage reduction have a negligible effect on TTK if that is a main concern?
In my experience TTK is rather long enough anyways if both targets are mobile (IE not slow bricks) Advanced-ish Assaults or protobears.

This is like saying there has always been four x8 skills to increase cpu and pg on all dropsuits and vehicles separately. It's just not true. |

I agree with you, a 10% dmg reduction is negligible, but it is a start toward making some other fittings than this good:
"Lows: Armor plates High: 1-2 dmg mods, extenders"
In this so called complex shooter. Theorycrafting in this game is too damn easy.

And 8 months ago, how was the hit detection working out??

I think people are not objective and trying to understand the cause why some weapons are OP or UP.
One good thing with 1.6: Many problems with weapons will be easy to figure out now, since CCP has removed one variable (hit detection crappy).
