Ok so I've managed to kill countless things with REs ranging from installations and HAVs, to Dropships and Dropsuits.
But I can't ever get proximity explosives to blowup when dropsuits walk right on top of them.
Are they designed this way? Can I not kill dropsuits with proxy REs?

Yes...yes you are an idiot because they're design for AV purposes.

It's been a minute since I've used RE's, so I'm not sure.
Here's a question though. Do RE's still function like before, where if you place a meta 1 RE (A) next to say a meta 3 RE (B), when you detonate A, does it still not blow up B?
Before you could cover multiple objectives against multiple hacks by placing two (maybe three, never had the prerequisites) different kinds of RE on each objective. That was fun, but it felt like a glitch. You would think detonating an RE would set off all other ones in the blast radius.

Yes, you can, they just need to be standing in the blast radius when the red vehicle drives over the prox.
@Surt You're forgetting about dropships, granted they need to land on the prox, but it can happen

I've only gotten proxies to kill vehicles. Even remotes are designed as AV, they are just really effective against infantry, lol. Hopefully we'll get an infantry proxy variation one day!

proxy only detonates wit vehicles and they do less damage then standard variant. And they were designed for AV purposes.
