many players think this gun sucks from what ive heard.
when i got to using this i noticed the great thing with its cqc ability.
it outperforms your average ar in cqc.
and for some strange reason under-performs against a heavy with hmg.
my only issue is with the 36 round clip.
it feels as if it should be buffed to 40.
my math to back it up. well im sure every1 knows a std ars base damage and max damage potential per clip is 2040.
the breach max damage per clip is around 1800.
add 4 more breach ar round to that and it equals the std ars base damage per clip.
thats all the tweaking i feel the breach ar needs to improve it cqc effectiveness against the other ars.
as it seems most of my battles ended up with me reloaded the gun only to finish my enemy off with 4 extra rounds.
plus im pretty sure 4 extra rounds isnt going to upset any issues with gameplay as its basically a small tweak.

I personally think the breach is really good. It needs a higher base RPM, but apart from that, I love it.
Here is the key to the gun though. HEADSHOTS.
If you can start the engagement from a flank and get headshots on unsuspecting enemies, you can tear through multiple people in a clip.
It really is made to be engaged from a flank, so that you can take advantage of it's high DMG per clip instead of it's DPS.
Just my Opinion though. I run it on my Minnie scout, and you can rip through a flank in no time. Combine with Assault SMG for max chaos.

its been really effective for me so far but gets outperformed at range but ive seemed to have better success in cqc with this weapon than all my other guns.
its pretty good when hipfiring it as well. ive taken down so many shotguns players after i started using the gun.
although its not great when going against multiple enemy targets, my favorite part is u can last longer in cqc than with any other gun because the low rof and decent damage per shot helps to conserve ammo.
of course ive been ended up having to reload in certain situations only to fire a finishing 4 rounds at my enemy.
which is my main reason for wanting to see the clip size increase by 4 rounds.
my pointless reason for the suggestion is the fact im tired of looking at the number 36 already.
so i feel its great weapon in general as it can perform well in the urban areas. making use of cover has helped me with the gun. although i stand at a disadvantage against a heavy within the breach ars range. but the gun it self can eat some nice chunks of hp before going down in cqc when out numbered. |

Remove breach AR, remove tactical AR (maybe remove seeing that it looks like that the rail rifle wil jusst be a pimped up tactical) because CCP have stated themselves that these variants where only put in to be a kind of placeholder for the missing AR variants. The variants we are now getting.
So easy fix remooooove |

i feel the ar variants should stay and this has nothing to do with the topic of my suggestion.
the different variants are just that races own design to mimic another races weapon. |

The amount of ignorance in this post is ridiculous. Let me correct you on a few things.
1. They were never "only" placeholders. They were variants at first, just like other weapon variants. 2. The Rail Rifle will be a long-range Breach Rifle, so calling it a "Pimped up Tactical" is a misnomer. 3. It's not an easy fix. Getting rid of a weapon does not count as fixing it. 4. If what you were saying is true, then we should also get rid of Burst ARs and Assault SCRs as well.
