Hello all.
I will start this thread by telling how I run my quads.
I don't usually Co-ordinate w/ EvE players, but there was one exception.
I collect all the straglers on public matches and round them up. I usually offer 100,000 ISK to the person with the most WP as the end and give the person with the least 50,000 ISK and an offer for tutoring. I've had about 40% of the blueberries take me up. I usually go 2-3 rounds as a loyal logi-bro following them around. giving them tips, and asking them questions, I teach them what to look out for and where to hide. My matches usually result in a select 2-3 (including myself) getting 1000+ WP, and 1-4 below 400. (I don't want to turn this into a matchmaking rant, but CCP, you can do better). I have raised a good amount of bluebberries, to this day.
so, how do you conduct your squads?
assault?
logibros and fat tires?
scout?
newbies?
vets?

Whenever I'm in a squad, we usually don't follow a "layout" (as in 1 Assault, 2 Logis, 3 Heavies, etc.), but we take who we can get, and try to implement tactics, but we just try to have fun.
As for the teaching newberries thing-that's a good thing you're doing. Keep that up and this player base may just grow.

well mine is quite simple. i don't usually squad up.
its mainly because i'm too lazy to turn on my mic unless i'm playing with people i know IRL.
but when i do squad lead, then here is how i do it.
9/10 im the only scout in my squad, and i have a really good friend named Wafflesplosion who snipes and is gallente assault. he either sits on a roof and provides recon while i scout the area (without a scanner because i only run scanner when using my NKs). he is VERY good at it and thanks to his help i've tied up entire squads long enough to get reinforcements.
when its not just us, then everyone else is generally assault or heavy with the few times i run with my bros from the Scouts United channel, so i switch to my Duvolle Specialist SG fit which has around 600 ehp and is as slow as an assault (so that they can keep up with me.) i set orders to attack powerful opponents usually ny ordering three to set up in the front while me and a few guys flank from the back. basically i try to be as good a leader as possible.
How exactly does a Biscuit gain Valor?

I LFS in corp chat.
Usually three or four guys say "Well I don't want to be squad lead"
I invite them, we start an Amarr FW.
"Here's the game-plan guys, let's go in and **** **** up"
We redline them and all get over 1.2K WP
