I've looked and have some nothing about redline camping and render distance. At first I did not mind redline camping, but now that the rendering is screwed up, it is pretty game breaking.
Is anything going to be done about this? if you can't fix the rendering at least disable shooting from inside the redline.
my little story. I was in my tank cruising around helping my team and i started getting hit, so i back up into cover and try to see what was hitting me. saw nothing on the horizon or anyone next to me. go into first person and started scanning the hills and i start getting hit again. desperate to see what was hitting me i drive into the hills and about poof a tank renders right before it starts shooting at me. it was only 48 meters away before it rendered. same with snipers, you go looking for a sniper but if hes too far away you have to take a dropship to make him render then kill him. |

Rendering has been an issue forever now.
By now the devs are no doubt looking into it by now.
It has been worse here lately, after 1.5, or maybe it was always like that. Tankers everywhere feel you pain man. I really hate those redline turrets that don't render but you have no problem rendering for them. Infantry of course is far far worse, though on a positive note, swarms are getting a range reduction.

Join the club . I had the same thing happen to me SO many times ( I even skilled into active scanners and place them on most of my tanks ) , that now I don't even care , I just leave the area now , not even caring about what it was as long as I can save my tank and money . Same with sniping . But , yes your not alone and if a DEV does answer you then , feel blessed .

confirmed render distance still not working. hid behind a rock while a turret was shooting me came back out and it wasn't there no more but still shooting me.
still getting hit by invisible swarmers.
Emailed CCP with an issue and an employee named CCP Eatadick closed the ticket saying its working as intended. |

Wow. Closing the ticket saying working as intended? Talk about a weird.
Anyways, the real changes for vehicles and AV weapon balance are supposedly coming in the next immediate update next month (1.7).
CCP, please fix the Nova Knives. Thank you.

thats what i am saying a simple troll thread will get a dev response in a couple of minutes, but threads far better than mine don't even get addressed . A simple "we don't know" would get me to stop complaining about these issues. The silence and continued soonTM is just old already.

still got invisible rail gun tankers shooting at me. I have looked and all i keep saying is it should be fixed it previous updates.
