As for the other to you do realize the commando and sentinel likely started as a medium frame but as they kept adding more armor and shields they had to start diverting empty module slots to harden the suit up more but as the suit got heavier the limitations of physics started to take their toll costing more than normal. Commando needed more slots diverted to handle a second light weapon arming and aiming systems as well as the nanocluster magazine replenisher.

Light or medium, yes. The title "Commando" implies something similar to present day special ops soldiers, which are always more about stealth, mobility, versatility and adaptability. All the qualities you wouldn't expect from a heavy dropsuit.

Yeah, I agree, you'd think that it was a Light frame with more Assault capabilities or a Medium Frame with more Stealth qualities. Instead it is a further gimped Heavy Frame that I bet was intended to be an appeasement to the AR scrubs.

Wait the commando suit can replenish its own ammo without nanohives?

1) A unfitted scout has 200 hp, which is killed by the first or second bullet pending on your weapon, considering that there are people who have survived lightning strikes, I don't think my description is too far off based on what the human body is able to endure.

2) If that is the case, then how come scouts do not have like 8 or 9 slots considering they aren't using them for armor

CPU and Grid diverted from modules to signature stealthing, sensors, and enhanced servos.
