So many games I just wouldn't die once because you could spam R1 and fire bullets doing 75hp damage each (whatever the amount is) whilst not taking damage yourself. Now you may as well just take it out of the game, it has 0 hit detection. It's like they changed the stats and somehow broke the weapons in the process. GêÜGëêDUST VIDEOSGëêGêÜ

Actually, just few people use it nowadays, because the standard AR is "easy mode" compared to the Tactical. And if you like single shot weapons, the Scrambler Rifle is better. However, for me it was love at first sight. I still use it over the Scrambler because of my burning passion for this weapon's feel. The story also has a sad part: After my favorite weapon was buffed (too much, as it was ridiculously OP), I saw so many people coming to it and abusing it, causing it to be nerfed (the nerf was needed anyway, but it was not necessary to hit that hard, in fact it's a very rare weapon now) and throwing it away like scrap metal to join the new FOTM (Flaylock and Mass Driver). I'm actaully so happy that someone still likes this weapon and uses it. I'm one of the few full-time Tac users you will ever meet on the battlefield and probably its biggest fan ever XD As you said, it's a rewarding weapon to use, it requires focus, steady nerves and accuracy. Even thought most people won't use it for these reasons, it doesn't really mean it's a bad weapon. At all. It works splendidly well in my hands. It could use a very slight buff (10% more ROF or +3 clip size for sure), but it shouldn't be an easy weapon. I'd rather be the only one using it instead of having an army of noobs thinking they are any good with it (see Uprising 1.1 ) And that's all. -Caldari Achura - One with the Universe -Tac AR Specialist "I load my gun with love instead of bullets"

I would agree that the Scrambler Rifle is better. and I enjoy using it very much, especially the Assault variant. Reav Hannari Red Rock Outriders 1695	Posted - 2013.11.03 16:21:00 - [10] - Quote The tactical is a fun variant to work with but can get you killed in close quarters if you don't have an SMG or other close range weapon to switch to. I use it on scout suits when I'm out hunting hill snipers or working the edge of a battle. Overall I find it balanced to the regular AR when used as intended.

Considering the Tac AR is supposed to be the cheap knock-off of the Scrambler I think they nailed the balance between the two.

It needs either it's 4-5dmg pts back (pre-nerf) or it's magazine capacity bumped up to 24. (pre-nerf, although Duv was 30)
