Please, can someone unveil this great mystery for me? How come when some folks post on the forum there is a little grey square in the upper right hand corner of their avatar with a small "=" sign in it?
I thought that this meant they were my in-gam contacts but I removed all my contacts except for corp-mates and this sign is showing up on all kinds of random mercs I see posting in threads now....
Man, if someone knows what this means that would be great. |

People you have added to your contacts, its a left over from the eve system that allows you to select a standing for them, as thats unavailable in dust it just sets it to a neutral standing, hence the =
If you where able to edit the standings for those you liked and disliked, there would be a blue + for friends and red - for enemies.

Thanks! That was my original thought, but it shows up on people that are not my contacts and never were. For example, it's showing up on your post above and I know I've never had you as a contact.
I guess it's busted.... |

That was my original thought, but it shows up on people that are not my contacts and never were. For example, it's showing up on your post above and I know I've never had you as a contact. I guess it's busted.... It also applies to corps and corp standings/contacts i believe.
