Novembers events have been released here : https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=118481&find=unread I personally like these events. All of them except the black eagle one but that is a different topic. My question for you all today is.... "what reward are you going to go for?" As stated in the thread I posted Quote: [list=1] For every 10 kills made with a Standard weapon, earn 1 Advanced-tier weapon of the same type. For every 10 kills made with an Advanced weapon, earn 2 Prototype-tier weapons of the same type. For every 10 kills made with a Prototype weapon, earn 1 copy of the 'Quafe' Scout gk.0 dropsuit. I personally feel like that week will be very brutal especially in ambush as I think most people might want to to proto stomp. However you most of the player base cannot even use the Quafe suit... I only want it to save it for player trading. It might pay off in the long run. However I can see the immediate usefulness of getting the proto weapons. So what rewards are you going for? BONUS DEV QUESTION! If I manage to get 1000 kills with my proto gun and get 100 quafe suits, Will I also be able to switch my weapons to start earning proto guns? Otherwise I'm working for the proto weapons. Also: I'm with you on the black eagle (I think). I'm not using them for the event, my KDR is nowhere near 5 so it's foolish to do so, esp. with all the expected protostomping. Templar'd for her pleasure Amarr victor!

It's just on that week... we hibernating protobears will awaken. There's a reason why I use standard gear. Honestly, I'll probably get three copies of the Quafe and just troll the **** out of people with BPO LAVs. Oh man, good week ahead. I might get some Scrambler Rifle protos while I'm at it. I go commando in my Commando. Feels good, man.

I don't ever intend to spec into scout gk.0, so I have more than enough to trade. You can never have enough Ishukone Assault SMG's though, and I love using dual 209's on my logi fits, so it should be fun, and profitable. Either that or roll DAU - 2 all week. Mr. Hybrid Vayu.

Cause Carthums are so much more effective at range, have much less spread when ADS, and do a good deal amount more damage than their ADV counterpart. The only reason I don't use them is because: 1. They cost 70k isk a pop vs 17k for the ADV 2. They don't fit as easily on my suit So that's potentially 7 million isk right there. I also use my ADV AFG a ton so I might get a few proto versions of those too. The only other weapon I'd be interested in would be the mass driver, but I never use anything besides STD because of the smaller splash radius. I also have no interest in proto HMGs. Just have to manage 500 kills in one week if I want to get the maximum reward. 25 matches at 20 kills each. List of Most Important Threads I make logistics videos! (Insert future link here)
