A bug exists that continues to provide the flash that occurs when you use the active scanner and continues once you use your weapon.
Exhibit A
Essentially the main problem with this is it's 1/2 of a flashbang lol. You can't aim at your opponent as the flash obscures you from aiming properly. Please fix.
Blue Tag requested to acknowledge the problem.
If this problem has been previously illuminated please inform.

Okay, I got it I guess. It seems pretty minor, and it only lasted a second, so you might be running a better tv/different gamma settings than me. I do see it happen in game though, and getting shot by somebody with a scanner going is pretty annoying. |

It's when you recognize how to do it and abuse it to blind your opponents that it becomes annoying.
I don't think it's game breaking, but it is a bug.

Yeah okay...zat what did you expect another exploit for scrubs to abuse...hey ccp how bout you just add flashlights to the guns remove scanners and make it so the mini map always shows everyone's location....cuz that's what your scanner is being used for right now...you can scan 24/7 and shoot at the same time another exploit

This also happens when you overheat the Laser Rifle. A beam of light emits from my Laser Rifle even when not firing. Very annoying. My previous thread about this got absolutely no response from a DEV, good luck with yours. |
