I use them like in MGS:1. But I mostly see enemies using my peripheral vision. How to most people use it? I don't use scanners, but I have level 3 in scan precision and in range amplifying.

I use them intensely, though I think we all use our eyes because 10 to 15 m isn't much.

When on an elevated platform, I can literally watch people go up stairs, so its very useful here, which I use to hide around the corner as they pass me and I pew pew them.

If I know an enemy is in an area I'll hide in a corner until I can get them on my passives and wait till I have their better side

Went 18/3 today by using my passive scanning abilities and a scp

I also loved it when I was too the left of 3 enemy tanks passing by on my Baloch with a squad mate and they didn't see us lol. We both started laughing so hard.

I run solo, without a scanner, so I don't use it. My eyes are my radar, for I use passive scan. You have to be seriously dampened for me not to spot you. That or a lightly dampened scout. Those guys can sneak past me with no problem.

The more range amplifiers the better, it would help if you are a gal scout. Ihope that scan buff is something.

I think the radius thing will be a gal scout's niche, making the gal scout effective within close quaters like all gals should be 30-50 feet.

The other scouts will be focused around another feature.
