you guys should really consider putting the objective consoles inside of small bunkers that only have one or two ways into them. Just like the little corner bunkers you find on some of the medium/small outposts. Make it so that the area immediately around the console is sheltered so that way snipers/forge gunners cant just camp on rooftops and keep an entire squad of people off an objective. And by little I mean little. Even if it means taking the existing art for 90% of the consoles and putting a circular wall around it with one door leading in. That's all it would need, and it would make hacking/defending such an objective much cooler.

No. Imagine Domination matches: 1) car drives up to entrance and blocks it 2) logi or scout hacks the objective & spams uolinks 3) Good luck to the competition
Besides, snipers are easily countered. Use cover & speed and you'll be fine. |

That's as likely to happen in almost any other domination match because if you think about it, 80% of the dom maps have objectives located inside (IE: the new gallente research facility) some sort of structure, or located in such a way that one vehicle could block it off.
So why doesn't it happen on those??? Because it just doesn't..... you try and park a car in front of an objective and tell me how long it takes for a Forge happy heavy to peg it off. Even if the car doesn't keep people from getting to the objective I bet it would still die within minutes. Having a small bunker wouldn't change a single thing aside from making it so that a heavy or sniper cant camp 200M away and lock an objective down from an entire squad of aggressors.
What it does do is create a location for Heavy suits to fight over, and opens up more opportunities for close range fights on maps that otherwise might not have many. (IE: manus peak where the northern side spawns on that ridiculous high ground and can rain laser/forge death on anyone approaching the letter.)

you forget, 98% of the dust community isn't smart enough to figure out problems, which is why were in this situation.

The less annoying things there are, the more people want to play. Simple as that.
nope sorry
