I had an orbital yesterday with 10 kills and no WP
That is complete BS
Is it my fault that I was squad leader and the only Logi on the battlefield?
NO
I cant help it if no one drops uplinks and nano's.
Why are my WP nerfed?
I earn them during battle and to get 19wp for a spawn or NO WP for an orbital is STUPID
I think that you should stop WP for anyone over 10 kills then
My Equipment is expensive an i get penalized for doing my job...

Game needs to remove the entire WP mechanic.
Also needs to implement rollover SP.

Orbitals never should have provided WP in the first place (the kills shouldn't count towards the user's kdr either)
Rollover SP would be great (just don't change how Boosters work) |

This change is a joke.
CCP is acting like they forgot to include this in the patch notes - The truth is, they thought this wouldn't impact legitimate players and figured they could just ninja patch it and nobody would notice except those who exploit.
Just because your employees can't log over 1000 WP in a game doesn't mean you should punish good players who can. I've literally gotten zero points for killing enemies multiple times in the last 24 hours. Last night I killed a full dropship and then engaged infantry in the open and was consistently getting ZERO WP for killing them. That should never happen.
Also, it looks like you ignored the CPM's strong suggestions that this should never impact legit players and went with "Yeah, we're sure it wont" -- Like I said, there are legitimate players who are much better than your CCP team. You can't play a couple rounds in the office and assume that because you had a "great" game and never got throttled that everything is A-OK.
Fix it so it doesn't affect legit gameplay. Stop rewarding failure and punishing success - and most importantly, stop trying to ninja-patch things without rigorous testing and playerbase reviews. You're showing your ass CCP.

It's being worked on, and I mean, you're complaining about losing WP for two of the least skill intensive actions in the game, just saying
MUDFLAPS, part of why it's hitting you so hard is because of how much WP you soak up in the first minute or two of any given game off of installations and defend orders. Your WP per minute spikes and the system kicks in because of that. Hopefully the numbers get worked out more as time goes on, but ultimately, the change is good in theory because it addresses issues that don't even exist yet, but likely will as time goes on.

Yep, tanks are always going to be spike WPs, that's the intended use and it's only going to get more aggressive in 1.7.
You'll be in and fighting furiously for short periods of time, then driving back to a supply depot to get ammo. I'm not just losing WP in the beginning of the round, I'm losing WP in almost every big burst fight.
If this burst damage mentality is what vehicles are headed towards, why am I being punished for it? |
