WTF... no comment on what they are replacing them with... just that they are done as of Nov. 5th.
Anyone got any clue how they will be replacing them? If you say more war packs so help me god....

Hopefully they'll be quick to change the payouts to performanced based instead of mere participation.
It's the only way that these people are going to start trying to win these pub matches instead of hiding in them to profit. |

Seeing as the W.A.R packs are the exact same pricing i think we have the answer to what is replacing them. can't see folk spending much more money on this game after the 5th |

Agreed. Removing them without announcing what is going to replace them is lame. If they are no other packs coming at least say so. And yeah the WAR packs are just terrible like Aran said. Get off your ass and create booster packs of good value and while you are at it, increase the AUR given in the AUR packs, it's too low. |

If they reduced the cost expendable AUR items by about 80% they'd be making money hand over foot.
Cut the boosters by 50% and a LOT more people will use them.

CCP won't be removing any original blueprints that you are holding but I wouldn't be surprised if they added some mechanic so that you had to pay some form of production cost. I think the W.A.R packs and items similar to those will be the standard for a while. |

They did say though that they wont be removing BPOs from inventories until they can work out a refund system. Personally though with the grief they got i think they're just gonna have to bite th ebullet and keep them permanently. not only that but anyone who bought the EVE collectors edition has very good proof seeing as it clearly states the BPOs are Permanent. it would be advisable for anyone who buys an Elite or Veteran pack to take screenshots of anywhere it claims they are permanent. that way you have good basis to fall back on if/when its needed |

BPO's have to go, I don't know why they ever introduced them. I have no manufacturing skill yet I can have unlimited suits and guns that I make with no resources... It doesn't make any sense at all. |

I suppose it was only a matter of time before they removed veteran and elite packs seeing as how CCP is not happy with the BPO's. The new packs are terrible though. I have enough boosters and AUR to last me a while and if the packs donGÇÖt get better, I donGÇÖt see myself buying them. I really donGÇÖt feel right paying extraordinary amounts of money on perishable items. If the packs were cheaper, why not, but the price tag is just too much.
