Their colors.
It's not because they are infinite or save ISK, it's because they are differently colored.
Look at Assault C-I then look at 'Covenant' Assault C-I. Come on man, it's red. How badass is that?
I'm using that as an example, but you get the gist of it.
What I suggest is that there be a slot for paint for our suit. They could start off with BPOs of the colors red, blue, and green. Then there could be the other colors that aren't BPOs and can cost AUR. That's paying for vanity. It won't affect gameplay in other way.
There's money to be made from this, I tell you!

I grabbed a 'Sever' Logi suit for the colour and the fact that there is no Logi fit you can use if you run out of money.
It's a great disadvantage for non assaults, that they don't have free fits when they go bust. On top of that, logi fits are more expensive than assault fits.
I've bought blueprints for all my characters, for that i can play them at a reasonable cost (all of them have non blueprint items on them) and with a nice colour scheme. I even skilled into level 1 Scout to get the camouflaged gallente scout suit on my gallente character.
I wouldn't buy consumables for Aurum, exept for stuff I can't use yet. As soon as I have skilled into certain stuff, putting real world money into it makes no sense. Blueprints on the other side give me value for money, so I would like to buy them (Minmatar, Gallente and Amarr LAVs for example).
I will not pay real world money for consumables in the future. When my Aurum account is drained, I'd need a good reason to put real world money into this game anyway...

I've started using my Templar rifle on my advanced suits because it looks better than the CRW-04, even if it is less effective.

Grabbed the SVER logi in Chrome because I was switching to logistics and knew I was probably going to die a lot lol.
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"

Lol I'm a hard core souls player since Demon's. Nito just so happened to he the guy our User Covenant was working for... we basically with DxV laid out on the wikis how Gravelording worked, how to make it work, and pretty much all the tips and tricks to being a successful one. The only GS EoD bank was over 2000 last time I checked.

Nice. Gravelording can be pretty entertaining at times if you let it be. There's always that one guy that does something unpredictable and brightens your day. I enjoyed Demon's Souls back in the day, which was the reason I got into Dark Souls, which in turn is more than likely going to get me into the second Dark Souls.
I introduced my friend to Dark Souls, because he never played Demon's Souls or Dark Souls before. He has a huge hate/love relationship with it. Makes me all warm and fuzzy as I set him up to for me to invade. Mwhahaha.

I have two LAV BPOs, but that's pretty much because of spending $150 in a game that I'm putting my faith into.

That's why I bought the Valor scout despite already having the dragonfly scout. I liked the green camo look more than the dark shiny one of the dragonfly. |
