I have a standard of running no more then one piece of proto gear (which includes the suit, moduels, equipment, weapon, etc) in pub matches.
You on the otherhand were using core nades, with a proto AR on a prototype suit. Good on ya for keeping new players out of Dust!

I switched to the Asia sever for one match to see what kind of difference that would make...
First guy I ran into was CCP Saberwing...who was in a Caldari suit with most likely an Assault rifle.
Seeing as how I hate that stereotype, I shot him in the head with my SR, which he then ran around the corner.
I chased him, jumped into the air, and finished him off with more shots to the head.
As it was the end of the game, I didn't get to see much more of him, but in the short amount of time that I played (maybe 2 minutes) I was able to go 6/0 He scored 3/5
Not that I'm trying to dis the DEVs here, but they seriously need to step up their game. I feel bad when I play against them...Because seriously, I suck at this game. I'm just good at strategically putting myself in the best position possible to win against an opponent.
But then again, most DEVs don't actually work on the game and probably don't play it anywhere close to how much we do.

BTW today is my first day running pubs in like 2 weeks. I am only doing pubs now because I have a booster than runs out in 8 hours. I usually cap by doing pc all week.... I never really have much time for pubs but today I am grinding so i dont have to activate another booster.

how about scout suits, but use the Minnimatar one, dont want you stacking plates.

I used to go 19+ with 1-2 deaths in a dren scout suit.
However I deleted all my fits that are not proto because I don't have a use for them anymore. I do pc 99% of the time. Either for my corp or I get hired. All my other suits were just taking up space.

Yup I ran with my dren scout suit for like 2 months. Tried a ton of different load outs. My favorite is Remotes + dren shotgun.
I will switch to an ar on certain maps though.
though with this build... I am not sure if my new favorite load will be scanner > RE.. haven't tried my scout fit much this build.
