I see so many "OMG, tanks are going to be OP once again" threads that everytime I log into the Forums, my PC starts dripping tears.
But... really, what am I missing? This is not a troll thread, seriously, I don't understand: Enlighten me!
-AV damage is going down. HAV's HP are going down.
-Swarms lock-on range is going down. HAV's speed is going down.
-HAV are getting better hardeners. Their passive resistance is going to be removed, though.
-Armor HAV's repairers are going to be full-time working. They are going to be much weaker too.
-It seems like Railguns and Missiles are going to be buffed. Ammo are going to be finited, though.
-HAV's slot layout is going to be extremely limited. AV... is not losing anything here.
That said, I'm failing to see how tanks are going to be OP.

Tanks use to be unstoppable with ungodly turrets and high HP and I believe a broken repair mod.
This is why dropship and LAV turrets suck because they use to be OP as **** with splash damage.

People are just f*cking stupid they will b*tch and moan at any chance they get. Not saying AV is going to be as good as it currently is but it's not something to blow out of proportion like some people are trying...

I wished people would talk about the effects after the cause occurs. I guess I'll make that my Christmas wish this season.
But seriously though, if everyone would just wait and judge the changes once they actually experience them, the feedback would be much better and CCP could actually make a better game. |
