This is a long overdue message.
Now that SI has lost its last district, the time has come for me to accept its demise and reluctantly move on.
Our last district fell today to S.A.L.U.K.I. in a couple of well fought albeit poorly organised and laggy battles. Never the less, it felt right to go down fighting a futile battle, for little more than old time's sake.

Like a cheesy montage I was reminded of all the good times I had with you folks, and I came to realise that the history of my enjoyment of Dust is the history of my time with you in SI.

I remember being recruited all the way back before Chromosome by The Dark Cloud (A feat I only realised the significance of months later
) I remember barrel rolling my LAV up the side of C and wiping out two squads of you, hearing your baffled wails from the corp channel
In the first tournament I remember devastating What The French with those OP as all hell Dropship missiles.
I remember Sha killing one of the supposedly invisible & invincible referee devs, and hearing cheers, applause, and uproarious laughter burst from my mic.
I remember first hearing Jin laugh like a supervillain as he FGed ants from his favourite rooftop.
I remember how often KIT KATS would run three quarters of the way across the map to pick me up, zig-zagging through cranberries at 100mph.
I remember when the worst spy ever found his way into the SI Ops channel and started a hilarious slanging match with Crafty after being immediately busted.
I remember how Spartan it felt that day when we had about 20 PC matches, and won about 90% of them.
And I remember the beginning of the end; when Sha's public image in the war room morphed into some sort of PC boogeyman.
I remember that one PC match that spawned the Thunderdome, and how we teamkilled our days away as the districts fell.
I remember when we began no-shows, but I went into the ones Vs the Imperfects anyway, because I wanted to troll with my militia minny scout and REs. Thanks for the LLAV Alldin
I remember the impending unease at the restructuring effort that was probably the straw on the camel's back.
I remember the quiet pride I felt when our biggest opponents refused to believe we'd really disbanded, and instead thought it was some cunning ploy.
And finally I remember how empty the game & its chat channels felt when both Dust and SI simultaneously went into their darkest hours.
Only one of them would start to claw its way back out.

I've rambled on long enough here. You'll probably find me joining what's left of the family at AE, if they'll have me ('course they will. I'm awesome).
And it has been like a family in SI; I started writing this with some big splashes of melodrama for the lols, but it really will feel like a part of me will be lost when that tag next to my name goes with it.
You made this game worth playing, I thank you and will miss you all for that. Dust will be a different game without you.
 Goodbye fellow Seraphim

Hasn't been on in a long time.
When he does pop up, you hear about it like an old college friend has arrived in town.

you will be remembered with a tone of reverence, at least from me. SI was always a good corp and a frightening thing to see red. being one of the oldest corps in the game it's a shame to see you go.

send sha my love, the wars you against ZTCD in space were some of the best times I ever had in eve. god, now it all comes back, in a rush or flood of memories, those long nights playing station games with you b*stards.

 Stinky,

Your message sums up feelings I can easily share with.
Keep up rolling in good fights.
