LOL This is why we need restrictions on who can join FW I wont deny that would be nice. But not in keeping with the spirit of FW. Control of the warzone needs to be in the hands of corporations not the blue dot masses who cant take a point between the other 10 members of the team. I mean half the Minmatar teams Aero and I go up against aren't even all that good, but were denied the win because we are either the attacking or baby sitting the one objective Aero and I took ourselves. If only I have a dog collars to leash the randoms to the objective. Dunno why they cant. I called tank on my favourite map Fractured Road, we normally always win on that map. I sat at A for the entire match waiting for a blue... or green dot to hack the point. No one even bothered until 15 mins into the match by that time no one was even spawning on the point. Such is the nature of New Eden (Which I love) Oh you should. The one guy who taught me never to trust anyone in EVE was from Snuffbox, and I still tell anecdotally the story of my first encounter with bloody pirates. Wormhole space is a whole other kettle of fish. You never know who you are going to get through that static C3.... miners, or hunters..... The thing is most FPS players don't have the brain power nor mindset to really get into the lore and delve deeper into the back stories of the four races. Yes, you, I, and a select few do have the mental capacity to really understand and KNOW the races, but most other players in DUST probably follow the following method to choose their faction.... 1) Open DUST 2) Scroll around through factions 3) Look at how the suits look 4) "Oh that one looks cool, I'll pick "x" faction" 5) Fail to read description and chooses faction who's dropsuit looks the "coolest" Yeah.... Dust is the first real FPS that I have done reasonably well in maintaining a pretty decent KDR, and actually achieving something with a clan/corp. Prior to this I came from epic story based RPG's like Tales of Symphonia, with an 80+ hour main story line (why don't they make games this good or long anymore?), Valkyria Chronicles, and Dragon Age Origins. Oh and lets not forget my favourite RPG of all time ME trilogy... One day I shall play all 3 back to back and carve out the perfect plotline for commander shepard.... bearing in mind I have never finished ME3. I insist the best thing for a GAME is REPLAY VALUE. REPLAY.VALUE. You heard that CCP? M.A.G. Didnt have anything more than a single 4 minute TRAINING mission that could be considered PVE. It had 2 , two minute videos to explain each faction and the intro. BUT IT HAD REPLAY VALUE. I was tired of using shotguns? I saved up, skill respec and would play LMGs now. Got tired of playing for Valor and want to have ataste of my Home PMC? do a prestidge, go back to SVER.... THE ONLY thing RAVEN dominated LOL.And it was because of your superior MAP. I was a SVER Beta tester. In the beta, SVER was actually the underdog, RAVEN the OP side. So many good players ended up in SVER when the game came out on an incorrect prediction that most players would go RAven. Everybody ended up in SVER and it gor BORING. Then i went to RAVEN, but RAVEN blue dots are almost as bad as AMARRIAN blue dots (i know why you are here you masichist punk XD) and finally i ended up in Aimbot [ + ] in VALOR. But i was there mostly for the challenge and to be hoenst in MAG i really didnt have any PMC loyalty.... Yeah we could only trust the Clans to hold the line. The one I was in was small, we could only ever field 24 at a time so we stuck to acquisition, and that map you talk about was great for me, so much wide open space I could switch from LMG and Anti Tank (this being my fav all time class.... except in Dust the HMG is **** ugly), then back to a P90 Scout. I liked Raven because at the end there the AR and LMG were amazing and we were the under dogs in Domination and Assault maps....man I never felt more like a real mercenary than in MAG.... shame its gone... Bring on your worst, we love a challenge. Yup you guys happen to be about the only Min FW corp I can repect because you always fight and fight hard, but also because as far as I know you have properly dedicated yourselves to the Minmatar FW.
