Just had my first game today and got taken down by a Ishukone sniper user. Game finished about 13:15 uk time.
Very surprised that the damage dealt was plus of 2200 near 10x that of its base value.
My sniper has upwards 750h and the opponents fist shot took about 60% of that but the second shot would have been enough to take me down almost 2.5x over on its own.
The number is obviously incorrect ,even taking into account that he/she COULD have PRO 5 and 5 comp mods and hit a head shot, no way could this damage be done. |

The number indicated on a kill screen is a total of damage taken from a single individual. I'd assume he or she had been pelting you with shots and you recovered from them somehow.

I believe you, it's not just them piling up damage against you over time. I was in a match about an hour after this last downtime, I spawned on a tower, ran to the edge to look down, and got 1 shotted by a Kaal Tac sniper for 1300 in my ~600hp logi suit. |

This happens all the time. I would love to see CCP's damage formulas and how it's show/stacked/registered/etc

Yes, I've had that too, 1300 was the highest until yesterday, it was also tha Kaal, but 2 shots not a single as yours was. |
