What do you mean, they would never see newberries? Because they would kill the brand new starter suit characters in the blink of an eye with their damage-modded duvolles? Not sure that's much of an argument for having 4mil+ SP characters in the academy...

I don't agree with removing the cap for people in the academy - that just makes the game seem too grindy. I think I'd have dropped it if I thought I'd always be miles behind 24/7 nolifers. Hitting the cap is enough of a grind as it is.

Maybe 1.5 x SP (which can be further increased with boosters) would be reasonable. However, I don't think that should disappear as soon as graduation. Sudden increase in difficulty+sudden decrease in SP=sure way to make people drop the game. Maybe something like this would work:

2 mil - leave academy
4 mil - no longer get 1.5xSP multiplier

I think 2 million would be about right. the official line and measure for someone leaving the academy at this point would be 5 million sp so new berries would now have 5 mill sp..which is like 1/6 of what i have.. people in the academy would have 4,999,999 or under and would be under higher sp gain tiers and have no weekly cap meaning you could grind ur way to graduation in a few days tops

Maybe something like this would work: 2 mil - leave academy 4 mil - no longer get 1.5xSP multiplier staging the multiplier drop is reasonable but 2 mill grad is not i would say no lower than 3.5 mil sp to graduate..and then have the sp multiplier drop around 5 or 6

[/quote] question which would you prefer to have 600 k sp and face 5 mill sp dedicated slayers or have 600k sp and face 30 mill sp slayers? right now blue dots get the latter in my suggested scrub academy at best you would face a duvoulle on an adv suit no one will be rocking a racial proto and 100 % MAXED main weapon and side arm and nade and equip and suit on 5 mill sp...at best the will have a half form suit and so right before they get dropped in vs us they would be good vs the academy newbs that is all. (and then shortly after they would be on our turf) .newbs may be stomped sometimes but it wouldnt be nearly as bad it would be players who have only played the game slightly longer than they have. and they wouldnt even have a chance of going against full on 20+ 30 + mill sp proto stompers..not till they are at 5 mill sp and have a proto weapon rocking an advanced racial or maybe a proto basic frame....they will at least stand a chance..not like starter suits do getting dropped into 30+ mill sp matches now
