The tank will never see you coming. At that range you would be firing your second clip right after you unloaded your first before it even hit the tank. |

That's a very good video, although not a spot that I would choose to camp, but it shows the range very well. And also leads the viewer to see how swarms are going to change their tactics to kill vehicles. Long distance camping for swarmers wont work anymore. Although, he could of done without belittling us swarmers. |

400m was indeed OP. 330 damage would be OP against DSs and LAVs since LLAVs and ADSs are gone. Against HAVs? Yeah. A Madrugar has almost the same life expectancy with hardeners up as it does not with hardeners up, so we'll see how that works out.
Also, sorry, but a Madrugar with 11000 health expectancy after hardeners that can slay a whole team then recall when it takes half a dozen standard swarms, only to redeploy ten seconds later with full health, isn't an "easy mode win" for anyone except a squad of proto AV. The reduction in range and damage along with the even more cyclical life span of a HAV with hardeners after the rebalance will only encourage this, as now the pilot can easily redeploy the HAV out of AV range, so that it won't even take any damage while being deployed. Dropships have always been pretty frail, but a HAVs success is determine almost purely by whether or not the enemy team has proto AV. Anything below and it's the good old recall, redeploy tactic. |

You know what's funny? A couple of days ago I started skilling into swarmys because the gifted AUR swarms I had ran out. Then three days later I read they are nerfing the damage.
I'm not really educated on swarms to make an opinion.
Though I worry about the Madrugar since the damage is being nerfed on the swarmys. Those things are terrorizers |

**** a tank...how do you suppose we destroy LAVs without forge guns? A lav will just drive out of range before you're able to lock in on it. If you're able to lock in on it...then you may destroy a std lav. But you will not be able to take out a logi lav at all. Especially with the AV nade nerf |

I'm sorry. I agree that they are now probably going to be relatively balanced against Dropships, especially with the removal of ASD dropships. The Swarm range and damage double combo screws over SLs against HAVs, though, because Madrugar's and Gunnlogi's still exist with only slightly lower health after hardeners, so it looks like it'll be "hit them when their hardeners go down, or don't hit them at all." With the vehicle recall, you can never hit them when their hardeners go down because they magically disappear behind a wall. |

That recall should have to get a RDV to come and pick it up. remain stationary for the entire process. If I was to really complain about anything, it would be that. |

I think they difference should have been spilt with different variant of swarms offered... Specialist - lower damage, current range Regular - current damage, lower range
Biggest thing I would like to see no matter what they do to damage or lock on range is increase the projectile speed significantly and tone down the uber tracking. That actually evens things up noticeable for both AV and dropship / HAV guys. |

A agree, it's an even bigger problem. I complain about it all the time; I'm nice like that. At the same time, the nerf to Swarm Launchers balances out some aspects of Infantry vs Vehicle combat while introducing other imbalances. Will it make AV overall WORSE in terms of balance? Combined with the vehicle changes, maybe not. It will accentuate several preexisting flaws and balance issues, however. |

yeeeaaaa remember when they tried this with forge guns??? Nobody bothered with them. Every vehicle can out run the fastest scout with ease and can easily kill the swarmer at 175m. Now if swarms were the shotgun of of AV that would be fine but 330 per missile was nothing special as it was and now they want to kill that damage even further.
look I get it AV is OP as ****, but nerfing swarm lock on range while dropping damage is ******* ********.
drop damage and leave range alone or drop range and either increase damage or decrease lockon time(or return dumb fire).
Oh yea that reminds me ******* buff the damage on PLCs those things are ******* ******** underpowered for how short range they are. I mean at 30m a tank can dodge those rounds. |
