Wreckage on battlefield as a function of quantity of local starship battles in the local area. |

Cool idea, but really not practical.
The crashed Titan event was very cool, but I'd only like to see it happen again if one of the biggest EVE battles of all time were to take place. |

Not looking for "useful" cover or match terrain.
merely suggesting that a battlefield immediately inform a player as to how hotly contested local space is via visual cue.

I don't think on the actual field is that sensible - but I'd like to see things in the skybox, especially if it's at night. If, say, a starship explodes above the district perhaps it could have a graphical effect. |

What are the chances that a starship wreckage would wind up on the district? The districts are just a tiny portion of the planet, and a planet is just one of many planets within a system, not to mention the fact that it's highly unlikely a starship wreck would even end up crashing into a planet anyway when you consider how massive space is. It's just incredibly improbable.
The titan wreck event was one thing, since titans are huge (literally as large as a mountain), and that particular titan was destroyed in low orbit. Even then, how did it appear on so many maps that weren't even on Caldari Prime? |
