I recently bought a Turtle Beach headset, and it works great. Sound is amazing, chat is awesome... On every other game except for Dust. I was on Battlefield the other day talking to my friends and it was working great. Then I hopped on Dust and tried using voice chat, and nothing. I can't hear anyone talk, and they can't hear me talk. I have the in-game option configured, chat is enabled and I have the correct chat activated but nothing happens.
I saw that the voice chat has not been working on the sticky, thought I'd post this here because it says "Continue to provide us with your experiences." |

I have turtle beach earforce tangos, and i have problems with them while playing dust too. They do strange things like shutting themselves off as if theyve been inactive for awhile, even though ive been using them the whole time. And like op, the only time they act up is when im playing dust. |

Turtle Beach PX21's here.
Works fine in everything. Dust Voice Chat screws up a lot. |

That's a bug Dust side. My corp mate got it, had it for 2 days. I'll ask him how he fixed it. |

does not matter what working head set you are using.
dust is plagued by a mic bug (PS3)
Sometimes the mic works, sometimes it does not. |

I have the PLA's as well. I get the comms glitch 100% of the time, until I log out and back in. If I switch characters, I have to log out/in after I switch to restore comms. Since 1.5 I have not been able to log into DUST and my comms work. 100% of the time, I am having to re-login. So, I guess what I'm saying is....I can duplicate the issue with no intermittent success. |
