Should we get them? Does DUST even need them?
If I was to attach a shotgun under an AR, would I need both AR AND SG Operation? Would there be a whole new skill branch under Dropsuit Upgrades to make underbarrel attachments more effective?
Would the fitting cost be the same?
Does this possibly mean Commandos could have 4 weapons on one fitting? Would you be able to equip equipment underneath it?
Underslung AR on an AR?
Nova bayonets? Sidearms attached under the main-hand? Would this occupy the sidearm slot?
Are they worth it with fitting costs involved?
Would we have to access it from the equipment wheel?
What are the strengths and benefits?
Would this mean increased base CPU/PG for all suits, to cater for the choice of extra HP or an underslung weapon?
I was just watching the MK25 Gauss Rifle video and at 0:12 it clearly shows the "Navy M973 Tactical Mount", and it seems like an interesting concept. Another layer of customisation for your weapon. I mean, a scanner under your gun would be insane... |

It's already on CCP's backlog (a very big backlog) of things to add in the future for Dust. They said they were already working on it but implementing it takes a lot of preparation. We don't even have all the weapons out yet. |

In the original tech Demo of Dust 514 when they only had one character model and fighters were hard to pilot, the AR had an under barrel grenade launcher. The guy playing the demo wound up using the launcher to get kills over actually shooting people. |

I think it'd be cool though they should be mostly all non-traditional attachments.
How about a nanite reservoir which keeps you magazine full while it is active?

YES! THIS IS PERFECT IDEA! Commandos can have mass drivers with underbarrel mass driver primaries and mass driver with underbarrel mass driver secondaries.

To fire under-barrel attachment, press "Triangle" then the "Fire" button.
To fire weapon and under-barrel attachment simultaneously, press "Square" then the "Fire" button. 
Sign me up for one (1) double-barrel, under-barrel MasterKey.
I wish to strap a Shotgun onto my Shotgun.
On a serious note, Weapon Attachments would be neat.
Maybe introduce it as a Commando-only perk?
Maybe dual-wielding as an alternative Commando perk? |
