Or they have moved into the scan range of a team controlled CRU, Supply Depot, Turret, or Objective. This causes chevrons to show up as these all have a passive scan precision that shows to the whole team. |

The chevrons appear even across the map when someone approaches a team controlled objective if the letter is in your field of view. This happens regardless of weapon range, holding knives, a pistol, even an Uplink and I still see them. |
