You cannot claim it was a feedback post not a quitting post. The title was about quitting as the very first line. Your post is a quitting post with feedback in it. You could very easily have put the feedback in one post here, and the quitting part in the locker room. But you didn't. You put the quitting part in in an attempt to add weight and drama tot he feedback. Good feedback does not need this.

You just did exactly what this post says people should not do.

I've seen many threads in my time on the forum, and I have to say that you are exaggerating this "troll" problem. Sure, it happens, but it's a lot rarer than you imply it is, and most people have no problem ignoring them when it occurs. CCP doesn't have time to critique all the feedback in this forum, so we do most of it for them.

You just did exactly what this post says people should not do. no i am not quitting, yes i am leaving for an unspecified period of time. as such i have left feedback as to what brought me to this point. if that is not relevant feedback then what is.

You could just email them at [email protected] if you wish for no one to respond, add or heckle your ideas. They also have a feedback survey which they base a good number of their changes on that gets sent out regularly (SurveyPRO) and normally if you send feedback to CCP using these methods they are not heckled or trolled. Having a feedback section in which all ideas are good will just add more threads and not a more responsive company but rather a tired set of devs reading all the threads and the many multiple feedback threads on the same topics. BTW it is not a thread if others cannot comment on the accuracy of information given or their own feedback on the same subject.

Trolling is where you say something to intentionally get a negative response. If you're not trying to get someone to respond negatively to your post, you're not trolling. Therefore, genuine criticism, no matter how poor, isn't trolling.
