I agree.
Plates already suffer a penalty besides the speed reduction. Not being able to regenerate by themselves or having to waste an entire slot for a small amount of regeneration is enough of a penalty.

No. I feel fast enough already tanking that stuff without having to take them away. I feel the mobility penalties work well to balance them with shields. |

I do not believe that armour needs a straight buff. What it does need, however, is tweaking. Ferroscale and reactive plates are still awful and deserve some love - but normal plated setups are fine. They exceed shield HP values whilst regenerating slower. and moving slower. That's fine. |

Shield tankers are supposed to be fast, that is one of the advantages. By closing the gap between armor and shield movement speeds then you will be seeing armor tanked suits that have more HP than a full shield tanker could ever think of, and will be moving at nearly the same speed in every way. |

Make armor plates affect stamina and shield extenders affect shield recharge delay. Buff shield regulators by 5% across the tiers and 1/2/3 HP/s regen on basic/enhanced/complex reactive plates. |
