I'm really frustrated now with the Dust playing community Scotty has been selecting for me. I haven't been on that much this week. That's normally not the case for I usually go hard on the first day of the SP reset. But boy, its becoming difficult.
I don't know what it is, but it seems that the intelligence levels have lowered immensely lately. It's souring my enjoyment. You got blueberries continually running to choke points without once thinking about flanking positions. It's really annoying. I was in a couple of matches helping my Amarrian brothers today and I see guys who were dying 15-20 times in a match. Not only is that bad for clones (yea duh) but that's also a boost for the opposing team morale. They would spawn at the bridge, and just stay in clumps together. Precisions netted the opposing team at least 9-10 kills. It was horrible.
Another instance that happened today, we were in a match where the few of us were staging a come back. We just hacked three objectives out of 4 (table top map) and we are holding the reds at their CRU (by alpha). We were sorely down in clones and just the fact we were able to muster up the resistance was commendable enough. I'm on mic, imploring the team to not hack the CRU. It's a controlled access point that we know where they coming from. We can always adjust the strategy. But noooooo. The blueberry hacks the objective. Which changes the spawn dynamic. From there, enemy spawns from behind us and to the east of us, giving them ample space to hack objectives and return fire for the win. I was so pissed.
Then what about the map with the bridge in the middle (alpha) with two facilities in either direction of it. There's a city to the left of it with two objectives. It has always been my thought process that its easier to hack the objectives that are in a straight line and easier to defend. The city stretches out the team and is nothing more than a "black hole" if you will. It's a time waster and not beneficial to the team. Yet, the blueberries are adamant about taking the city objectives. I thought laying down an uplink underneath the bridge would suggest a different strategy. Nope. They run for the city, hell bent on some senseless pay back kill that leaves them in a endless loop of shoot, die, respawn, repeat.
Yea it might be that time for that break for me. I'm not having fun and its not because of the game. I do enjoy Dust 514. The majority of the community I keep getting lumped with? Different story. Everybody wants to be a hero. Three guys are thinking about reviving solely but won't concentrate fire to save your metal behind when needs be. Sniper will still snipe even if they are watching their team get decimated. They don't even relay information to us. Then you got your Last Action Heroes who are just bunny hopping everywhere like its a Matrix movie and they die instantly. Uplink spamming is ridiculous. But where are the nanohives? Oh that's 10 points, not enough to warrant an ammo drop? I'm just annoyed by the incompetence. It's frustrating and tiresome
