DUST Search - [FEEDBACK} goodbye and thanks for all the fish

it was great while it lasted but it just dawned on me today how messed up the balance issues of this game are especially after seeing the weapon changes coming in the future. people in the lowest militia gear taking out proto suits with ease. proto weapons with 4 damage mods virtually insta killing anything in sight. 200ehp or 1500ehp doesn't make a difference.

im out there in my dren logistics suit with barely advanced gear on it raking in more wp/sp and kills than my proto suits with proto weapons and equipment. weather i roll in my dren or proto the game is exactly the same. sometimes i feel like i'm rolling a dice to see if i'm going to win this gun fight or lose it.

you have created PC, a tiny niche game for advancement from pub/faction warfare but its so small an area its has been flooded with the best that dust has to offer meaning no one else in eve has a chance at taking part. and knowing ccp you will likely just trickle feed dust the rest of the planets making it too easy for these corps/alliances who own districts to absorb.

it was a tough choice not to play anymore but i can't go on

no, you can not have my stuff

what i am saying is until ccp does something drastic to fix the core problems of this game, i'm out

sad thing about it is i just bought another elite pack for my alt.. wasted money till they sort this mess out

Leave. Now. Do not delete your character, nor stop its Passive SP. Each time you do return your character will have another ~720K of SP. More if you actually play the game. Even a little AFK farming will easily double that. As you approach 5M SP the game becomes almost playable. On a somewhat regular schedule check back in. Monthly is good, mid-month is best. They will have changed the game dramatically on the first week of the month (check the forum for the patch/release notes) add another week to fix their standard foobar of the release. You had helped me a lot. You know that you were dying to those militia suits because they were prototypes in disguise. It wasn't you. Like you said ... you will be back ... I just hope that I haven't left by the time you do. You can get fed up after some time and I wonder how this game has won all the awards first , it's not finished and second , there are so many problems with this game but they keep releasing new items , that makes me wonder , where their priorities lie and when will it change, if it will , so I can understand you TOTALLY . However, you still seem under the delusion that CCP cares about your opinion. It doesn't. Never has, never will. So your posting was QQ about not having the game you want, or what exactly because it seemed just like more QQ to me? You sounded exactly like many I have interacted with. Most are well under your level of SP while even those that have 10M SP more than you get frustrated by this game and how it has been handled/mishandled/developed/misdeveloped. So I took the time to give my suggestion, others liked it. As you are leaving it really doesn't matter what you think. Also, until the fantastic, super freaking deluxe API is finally released in some format my PS3 was off. And checking on the specs for a departing QQ Kitten ... not worth turning on the PS3 for. But there isn't a lot of point toughing this phase out... Even after dealing with Uprising 1.0... the random death's and one shot kill spamm weapons have made this game un-fun. The problem is that YOUR expectationof what proto should or shouldnt be capable of, personally I like very little diffrence between std and proto levels with the drastic increase in price for that slight diffrence. Let me school you here, the diffrence between regular ar and a gek is 5 percent, from the gek to the duvolle is another 5 percent, thats all you get for all that isk, so in your mind you think damn I paid all this money I should be getting a super weapon, nu uh you shouldnt and you dont. You do get a slightly better gun from std to duvolle, like 1 complex damage mod worth better. Thats exactly how it should be. And you know what ? Between aa and the new hit detection mechanic it mean that someone with superior aim is going to own you. XD It has greatly reduced proto stomping, and those that proto stomp pubs know it. As for the one hit kill weapons they are the equalizer. See proto scrubs in pubs will try to rush you simply because their gear is better, they dont play that way in pc, but when you have those re's on the ground waiting, or you put those perfectly cooked core cocks right in their mouth for rushing you like the chumps they are their is no pickup from that, no nanite injector dildo can save em and they rage, the hate mail flows, they make alts to qq about grenades, I laugh, and ultimately this brings the balance. So you see that proto suit is not meant to be a superman suit, its mean to give you only a SLIGHT advantage which it does, so just keep playing as plain old clark kent except that you will die and you will be fine. Its all perspective.
