I doubt CCP makes these decisions in a vacuum, solely based on QQing. They play the game after all. If they play in middle of the field gear, and there are 20 LAVs running people over left and right, because they are free, they probably stop and say, "I think there might be a problem with free LAVs."
Despite what we think, CCP does use data and experience to make decisions (even if sometimes they follow up with the wrong adjustments). When I first started playing, more than half the weapons on the field were laser rifles. So they got nerfed.
All that being said, there is WAY too much QQing on these threads. Rather than adjust their play, people come here to complain about every weapon that they can't own against. Like I've said before, just sit and watch the forum index, and you'll see Logi QQ, AV QQ, Vehicle QQ, AR QQ, Proto QQ, grenade QQ, MD QQ, Slayer QQ. It goes on and on and on. They should just change the name to QQ 514. |
