There are a few issues that are the main reason people are getting fed up with this game.
GÖª Lack of new content : self explained
GÖª Latency issues: After a certain hour (1-+ hours before Downtime in my case) the lag becomes unbareble. From taking 10 full seconds to run 3 Mts to fused weapon graphics, to simply shooting without damaging anyone nor spendig ammo...An it always seem to affect one side,but not the other:Example, i shoot my 72 ASCR bullets into somone's face, i didnt spend a single ammo unit, did around 20 damage, Get 1 shotted by a GEK. nice...
GÖª MATCHMAKING: CCP im sorry to tell you this; but matchmaking has NEVER been so bad! Now if you are playing solo you are GUARANTEED to play with blue berries. I've played for a 5 hours straight and not see a single squad in my side. NO JOKE. Matches with 16 vs 1 players, matches with 10+ organized squad memebers with 20mill each vs total newbies that dont know what to do with their 300 HP suits and MLT wapons vs all the Proto... This is an URGENT problem. If you are going to put a 6+ man squad on one side, the match SHOULD NOT START,until the Other side has a 6+ man squad...PERIOD.
GÖª Terrain glitches: These are just way to common.Specially in maps with rocks. Getting 100% stuck is just no fun. Also in some maps while appearing in a drop uplink you will simply fall BELOW the map forever,until you die because someone SOMEHOW can kill you 1000mts below earth.
GÖª TTK is way too low: The time to kill in this game is null. a Fire-fight never lassts more than 2-4 seconds .It doesnt matter how well you aim, you are never going to win vs 3+ red dots pressig r1 in your general direction. I mean, DUST is the first game i've played where BEING MORE SKILLED than the enemy wont let you come out alive of a firefight if you are outnumbered.And what is the difference in dropsuits ? like REALLY? In a PROTO Amarr i get dropped in 4 more bullets of a Duvolle. FOUR MORE BULLETS. The difference in effectivness is not at all compared to the ISK price. THIS IS THE REAL REASON BPO ''break'' your economy.......Why use my 690 Amarr assault (50k ISK cost) while i can use my Caldari BPO Dragonfly with 640 and a GEK...? (12k) NO REASON AT ALL.
I'll admit i feel you have done a GREAT job balancing the game, this is the most balanced Dust 514 i've played so far ( not the AV vs vehicle thou). The Game looks good, the game is balanced , but these issues NEED to be fixed. ASAP. AND are priority over anything else. |

I just want something to do other than endless battles. There's only so many battles you can do in a day before you get bored |

They have two choices with this issue:
Widen the gap, or remove it.
I think they should get rid of the gap and people should spend SP on variants instead of tiers. Or they could simply make prototype gear a bigger ISK and SP sink than it is now. Or reduce payouts in public matches. But why do all that when variants make every mercenary unique? |
