If mechs were to be introduced what exactly would be there role. And how would we fit them can they use infantry weapons or should they use small turrets. What do you guys think. |

Their role would be SL bait.
A light vehicle with low speed would be an AV users dream. |

What about a bio construct suit? An exoskeleton made from cloned muscle layered onto a composite metal frame with a liquid power supply. Kinda like a super heavy, but could cost 1 million or so when kitted out. Because it is bio, it wouldn't be ale to be locked onto, but you could act as a mobile CRU, or supply depot. Or even a mobile triage assault goliath. Or even have a shield unit to reduce the damage of clones within 5m of you. That might spice this up. |

Now that I think about it, a nice rail cannon on this kind of suit would be great anti heavy with AV on high towers. Hmmmm...... |

Basically a one man tank that doesn't fear half the AV weapons?
What could go wrong with that concept? |

If there were mechs in this game my role would be to log off and biomass my character then go play Titanfall because it probably would have better mech combat. Also, sounds like a desperate move to try and woo a certain subset of people. |

that's not a tank, its a heavy dropsuit, if you want a tank, create a 50 ton machine that has a chair for a pilot... what hes describing is a bigger heavy suit. |

All valid points, but hopefully this game will still be around long after titanfall. In this regard, I hope the game draws ideas from other titles to increase the dynamics of the world we play in.
Yea, kinda like a one man tank, but with a rail turret like a LAV, but not as mobile. THere have been many times I wish I could shoot my own LAV turret like tankers do. You'd see more anti vehicle LAV.
The point of a heavy suit is to provide serious AV and close quarters fire suppression. The super suit would not be good in CQC due to its large target size, but would be best for anti vehicle and anti sniper.
Or a drop dead serious logi platform. With no guns, jus triage, shield, ammo, smoke screen, etc. |

You don't want a LAV turret. They are UP compared to light weapons, never mind heavy weapons.
If you want to run AV get a FG. It's a great AV and anti-sniper weapon and doesn't require a mess of vehicle skills. |

They would be like the tanks for internal and space based missions. Missions like the promised penetration mode. They would also fill a fast moving MAV combat role. I figured Medium Turrets should be implemented in this game, able to tear apart LAV, harass infantry and mildly damage HAV. |
