SG and HMG(BETA) are kings of Close combat and still are in the right hands. Long range is the sniper rifle, no weapon besides the FG has the range of the sniper rifle. So no the AR is not better than any one weapon that is specialized for it. The AR is a general purpose weapon that does well in all environments. The problem is most individuals complain when they are killed by an AR because they got outplayed. Learn your weapons weakness and strengths and play off of them. Stop thinking you are god of the battlefield, because you are not. You are a clone and all clones die at one point.

Also you may have been killed by someone who has a lot more SP in there weapon and suit than you do. Welcome to Dust.

I hate it when I'm in my scout suit on an open map, but I love it because most of the time you don't have to change the way you engage enemy to enemy because most carry the same thing.

I know, its sad. Wait a sec, I have an idea. REMOVE THE AR FROM THE GAME, that way no more tryhards crying because other weapons beat it at their optimal range (barely too). Its simply unbalanced, in a game like this you cant have a weapon that is good a everything.

For the love of god I have sat ere and seen in 2 recent thread say "Scr's have a scope" no the hell they dont its a damn REFLEX SIGHT.
