CCP's lack of common sense to do things like this in a simple hot fix are hilarious. Vehicle combat could have been balanced through a simple hot fix, BUT NOOOOOOO. We are scrapping everything just to prove how clueless we are as a dev team.
At this point of the game's supposed long life, why not just play with the numbers constantly to achieve balance? Then when everything is set up properly, refund all aurum, reset SP, and reimburse the players for their assets. No FOTM's. No balance issues. Oh wait. That would make too much sense. |

Right now all breach ARs is stuck at a terribad 400 rpm. The gun is a joke I would rather roll with a scrambler pistol.
Either choice would improve the gun..
The first value set works on a tier system just incase 500 rpm becomes a face wreck party and everyone would trade in their duvolle for a std breach. It also gives you incentive to run proto and have it become deadly like the duvolle.
The second value set is incase the tier system fails and 500 rpm feels just right with out venturing into op land.

The burst was one of my favorite ARs to use back in the day. The 3 round burst was a bad nerf. |

The damage increase seems viable and would make the gun more realistic . I think the burst is simply out classed by the generic AR in every way as it stands right now. It should be a long range-long/mid range power house. |

What was bad about the Burst nerf is that they decided not to amp up the damage to accomodate for the increased recoil and 3-round burst. I swear, it doesn't take much to look at some of their changes and go, "Hmm maybe I should field test this first"
I think that CCP just releases content based on stats, which may work in EVE but in no way does it work in DUST. |

This can't be hotfixed. Only things to do with the servers can be hotfixed. This is a client side problem just like all the other problems you were talking about. |

So as a low rof, high damage variant, wouldn't it make sense to increase its damage and/or optimal range and not rof? Wouldn't bringing up the rate of fire essentially make it an basic AR with the same name? |

I feel your solution is making them less like variants and more like a plain old AR. The RoF on the Breach is what defines it as different, and you're pulling it closer to what the normal AR is.
Should just give the breach less recoil/better scope, or smaller hip fire dispersion. Or as I mentioned above, more damage.
As for the burst, why not give it no reload? Maximum ammunition in the clip, limited by a burst. Sounds good to me, and it makes them cater towards more unique playstyles instead of simply turning every AR variant into something a typical AR user turns to if they have a mood swing. |

I'm currently using the Burst in preparation for the Combat Rifle release. I like it mostly due to the scope. I would like this damage adjustment. I also feel like it's a tad more accurate at range then the standard AR. If it's not, it should be.
The Combat Rifle should be getting more range then the ARs. Hell, the standard CR should out-range a Duvolle IMO. But with reduced damage obviously. |
