many people have been hyped about the Next Gen-consoles, specifically the PS4, & there are ALOT of questions concerning Dust 514 And the Future... I will certainly be moving on from the PS3 as soon as the PS4 hits shelves, as like thousands of others...Many of us Support and Love dust 514, sinking in countless hours of gameplay into a fantastic and evolving game...
I love, LOVE, Dust 514 and don't mind supporting development by spending some real money, but now that the PS4 release date is looming over, I'm doubting spending any more $$$ on bundles and whatnot if I don't have assurance I can play My character(s) on PS4, as same of many other dust players...
If This unfortunately does happen, funds will dwindle and sooner or later Dust will be nothing more then a magnificent game, that just faded away... Honestly, I doubt CCP Will let Dust fall through the cracks, but knowing it WILL be coming to PS4 would help... From a business point of view

IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN (key phrase here) ccp isn't too worried about the ps4 atm. they're still planning on keeping it on ps3 for a while. |

And that will be dust downfall not a new game like everyone says but a new polished console which can allow better games and performs way better |

No Sony said specifically that the Ps4 is not backwards compatible. |

If Sonys cloud service works like it's supposed to then they could simple stream the game as is to the ps4. This would require a pretty good internet connection though. |

I agree, they should do a quick port of the current version and texture of the game, But that's me just being greedy. Think of it from a Business POV, they are essentially doing a second launch of the when it hits the PS4, not only that but they now have huge competition in the Free to play space, with games like Black light and Planet side 2. If they launched now and had it as un optimized and not utilizing the full power of the PS4 they would lose out on a huge market.
I say play the next gen titles like killzone, knack, warframe and blacklight. by the time your done playing those the gaikai services should be up and running and you should be able to play Stream Dust. Wait a few more months and we got fanfest 2014. And wait until 5/ 14 and they will launch the PS4 version of dust with better graphic's and textures alongside a more stable 40-60 fps.

The ps4 uses the same architecture as a PC and if you notice in all the of the occulus demos they have a controller in there hand . |

Unless I misunderstood the reply at the EVE Vegas DUST presentation, that question was asked exactly, and the reply was something along with the - there's 60 million PS3's out there, we have no plans for PS4 now.

I thought the ps4 is backwards compatible with all ps3 games, so we could play dust on ps4, but it will just be the same game with the ps3 limitations. I wont be trading in my monster, so i'm not too worried, but eventually my original monster will get that famous heating problem and go poop. |
