Until you hear CCP confirm it is happening, treat what you hear as you would an untrue rumor. Cool if it were true but most likely won't be.

It would be prudent to assume that there will be no respec ever. That way, you will not feel disappointment when you are right. In the unlikely case that you are wrong, it would be a pleasant surprise. Unless you are one of those Mormons that are against respecs... In which case, please cease and desist. |

They told me some time ago, respec will be anounced through devs blog. But i really dont know if that wasnt another of CCP lies. Hopefully not. |

There is an upcoming overhaul to the game's vehicles. This will include changes to the vehicle skill trees. CCP's options are to reimburse the SP spent on skills that end up changed/removed, or to attempt to re-allocate SP from those skills. The first option is clearly the better. So in this regard, a partial respec is very likely.
However a full reset would probably spell the end of this game, and there is no news of any full respec, not even upon the release of the numerous absent racial variants. |

CCP Praetorian mentioned a respec in the Dust presentation in EVE Vegas. I do not think this is just a rumour anymore. |

Of course he must be talking about a respec, because a RESET would kill this game... i mean, 1 more year doing the same stuff that you're doing now, to get what you already have playing the same game. |

Now that the strategy seems to be to release all (or at least the majority) of the missing content at once, I think a respec is more likely. I expect it will be partial, returning SP invested in vehicles, heavy suits, light suits, and possibly some light weapon skills. |
