The fact is that there should be limited SP refunds in areas where assets that should have been in the game at launch are introduced, such as with the case of Amarr and Minmatar vehicles, for example. Someone that specced into a Caldari vehicle in order to be useful to their Corporation should not be forced to stick with that just because there was a Minmatar vehicle there for them yet. In all other circumstances, I agree with you, and the idea of purchasing the ability to redo your character should never even be up for discussion.

I have been ****** over for the last 5 months because they didn't either release the Amarr Scout or the Amarr HAV.

If they simply randomly throw a respec out at the patch without warning the community it'll be chaotic to say the least.

RESPECS HELP NOOBS WAAAAY MORE THAN VETS. Like i said, we've already seen this.

So there will come a time when ppl in the game already won't have more sp and skills than someone new? Swapping skills around doesn't make someone better. If ppl still skill into FOTM then they'll be screwing themselves. New players will face better skilled players no matter what.

Instead of CCP penalizing "veteran" players to help new players, which is completely backwards, they should work on fixing the match making to help new players and let us have our respec - no strings attached - when the rest of the core content is released.
