Depends on the situation. If combat, scouts cuz' Commando's can get more eHP. If non combat, Commando's cuz' they are slow as ****. |

commando by far, the scout is capable of pubstomping if the conditions are right(sh!tty enemies, lots of semi distant spawns so the scout gets in kill range right before his team)
but the commando? the conditions to pubstomp with that are-
enemies dont shoot back-lest they easily kill him
enemies stand still-lest they easily outrun/outrange him
teammates dont shoot enemies-lest they easily killsteal him because he has no damage mods or pg/cpu to equip a decent weapon.
Ask any of the extremely few commando users and theyll tell you the ONLY thing it can do right---
run around in a charybdis with a sniper rifle and swarm launchers around the edge of the map being anti sniper/AV/sometimes sniper support. |

commandos, they need more slots. scouts and commandos really need buffed, scouts first cuz we've been tortured the most!
(and shottys estimations are *250 scouts and idk if there's even 20 commandos) |

Commandos.
The best I've gone in a commando suit was 17/6 using the Scrambler/Mass driver combo (covers both long and short range, shields and armor).
You can do a lot of damage quickly, but I've gone something like 22/3 as a scout. It's just easier to get kills by sneaking up on people than it is to try and exploit their weaknesses.
3 things the commando needs:
-More speed (at least 6 sprint speed)
-More ehp OR better shield regen (It is an Amarr suit...the amount of slots seems fine to me)
-A bigger bonus to dropsuit modules
-Another equipment slot on the gallente and minmatar variants
-Once the other variants come out, replace one of the light slots with a heavy slot (similar to how the amarr logi has a sidearm)
I want to see the Amarr version with a lot more health and a bonus to using modules to increase your health. The downside/balancing factor being that you can't do as much damage, and don't have the versatility of the other suits.
The other variants (caldari, gallente, minmatar) can all do other things. The minmatar commando would obviously be the fastest heavy in the game. Caldari would have a ton of shields with a slot layout of 3/2 at proto. Gallente would be the armor tank with the extra equipment slot. |
