I'm wondering if it's worth the SP costs. I also want to use it with the Amarr assault with the cool down skill. But is the Imperial SR worth it? I know the Carthum Assault is beast. |

Regular ScR is stronger than AScR. Having a cooldown skill makes it even better.
Only have to worry about the heat buildup compared to the nonexistant heat of AScR. |

It's worth it.... You know it is... You can feel it is.. You just asked on here because of your past mistakes in picking your previous weapon.. Just do it. |

The Assault version feels like a squirt gun in comparison. |

Get the Imperial, use it love it, and hurry up before the AR nerds get it nerfed since it's the only thing left in the current meta that can compete. |

You have it backwards. The Imperial Scrambler Rifle is beast, but is the Carthum worth it? |

Even if you're not going to use the Imperial, going to level 5 operation is worth it. You get a bit of help with the cooldown from the skill, but more importantly, you get access to the proficiency skill. Those added percents really help drive your alpha damage up on those charged headshots. And if you're PG-poor like me, you subsequently get access to the fitting optimization skill for a very PG hungry weapon. |

It's the best gun in the game, in my honest opinion (best =/= overpowered). |

The iscr is good in the hands of people who can aim and not overheat it. It is a very easy gun to use incorrectly |

I recently got prof1 on scram rifles and its deffinitly worth it. i prefer the assault because i just cant get used to charge/single shot but thats just me. as someone aid previously though. its worth it just to get proficiency up. at lv3 its just shy of a built in complex damage mod |

Or if you use a KBM and scroll the mousewheel to swap right before it overheats in cqc and ....nothing happens first scroll ....second Scroll still nothing ....then yer either almost dead or have no choice and take the gamble and fire till it overheats.
Ive taken many suicides because of that sh*t lol. |

Imperial Scrambler Rifle is ridiculously lethal with a couple of damage mods even without the Amarr assault bonus. |

I have mixed feelings on ScR, but I do feel the price of 77K ISK is a bit high. I would love to see a 25% price drop on all proto weapons. This in my opinion would make the game a lot funner and will not hurt the pocket so much.
Here is a crazy idea, if you are under 10 million SP all gear is half off. You can still earn ISK while using better gear without the fear of going broke. |

My general rule is if I'm going to overheat I need to back off. If iv not killed them in the first volley I'm not going to win that firefight. Forgetting to reload is what gets me :-P |

My general rule is that they are all going to die :p ...this in reality plays out diffrently lol.
I don't know how to back off :/ my style is too agresive and when i commit to a cqc shootout i am comitted until one dies but i am counting on my scrollwheel working and it only does that 60% of the time.
I also suffer from reloaditis, but playing for 3 years with an ammo clip of 5 rounds is hard to shake, at least the reload bug is fixed. Nothing was more fun to rear a corner on a heavy pull the trigger and watching in horror the blinking "Reloading" in the corner before you get pelted to death.

An Uncharged shot can 3 shot weak suits. A charged shot + an uncharged shot can 2/3 shot advanced suits. A charged shot and an SMG can take down Caldari Prototype suits in seconds. Get it. It's worth it. |
