So I've been messing around and realised the flash is a bit bright but the color of the reticle doesn't help..will we be able to customise it? I think that would help with a lot of players who have aiming issues with scramblers |

The muzzle flash is a pain, really. I think the reticle is fine though. |

It'd probably be best solved by toning down the muzzle flash than mucking with the reticle though. |

My biggest problem with aiming the AScR is the kick; it seems to entirely negate the range advantage over the AR. I have ScR op IV on this character and AR op IV on another and I find it way easier to keep a GEK-38 on target than a CRD-9 at similar ranges. |

I just did a test with a commando suit using a GEK and a CRD. (both at operation lvl 5 and with 1 lvl in AR sharpshooter)
The hipfire between the two seems nearly identical @ a little over 30 meters.
The aim-down-sight is incredibly different. When ADS'ing with the AR, all of the impacts are within a very very small area. The ADS'ing of the CRD was atrocious with much more dispersion. Hell the ADS dispersion of the CRD is much much greater than either the AR or the SMG. |

The tint on all of the scopes need to be dropped a lot.
Otherwise, I think it's ok. |

Why the Scramblers are so balanced vs. Why everyone says the AR is OP
I think I might copy/paste this into every post I find about ARs now. Thank you for looking into this. Because I've been saying this for months and everyone always thinks I'm crazy.
The AR is like an automatic sniper. It even shoots where you aim it when you're jumping around, running in circles, or dancing like a madman. No dispersion whatsoever when ADS.

I really wonder why the ScR doesn't have a sharpshooter skill (or maybe why the AR has one). It makes the AR hipfire insanely good:

There's no way an AScR can compete with that sort of accuracy up close. Combined with the slightly lower DPS and higher kick when ADSing, I don't really understand the point of the AScR, period. I was excited to get ScR op 4 on this character, but after spending some time with the AScR, it seems like just a stepping stone to unlocking the Imperial ScR. |

The regular Scrambler Rifle is better in my opinion. The only thing better about the Assault variant, again just in my opinion, is the lower fitting requirements :D |

I was just hoping that the AScR had something that made it worthwhile, or at least more appropriate for certain situations. |

AScR is a great gun, though not necessarily good for the standard amarr combat doctrine. |
