I doubt Dropships are air tight, so you wouldn't have much oxygen. |

I dont think that the dropship is actually able to do that in lore
and second, dropship is too slow and cannot warp, it would be pointless...
and third, eve pilots would gank you just to harvest your tears and it would be easy. you are slow, a dropship is small and has low firepower, even the starter ships in eve online would own you without any effort. |

Flying a dropship from a highsec planet into space will be treated as a criminal activity which leads to a instant punishment by Concord. In lowsec the local pirats are going to shot you at sight aswell. |

Yeah the lore covers this, Dust mercs are essentially illegal weapons of war according to concord.
Beck in beta, there was a concord notice in the MQ that asked you to report to the local concord office. |

Your Merc Quarters is on a space station, not a planet. I know this from checking the station guest logs when I dock at stations on my EVE character. Some DUST mercs even live in a Quaf station, which is like having an apartment in Coca ColaGÇÖs head office complex.
If you could just get that door open you might be able to book passage on a passing ship. |

Dont forget ships in eve are affected by fluid physics, meaning the fly (as stupid as it may sound) |

In lore, dropships are typically used to transfer infantry from starships to planetary environments. There are several recorded instances of dropships taking off from the ground and being picked up by a spaceship - it happens quite frequently in Templar One, notably around Pike's Landing. |

Yes, but they are open to space, so you are reliant on the air supply in your suit. You better hope there is a ship waiting for you when you reach orbit or you will loos your clone to suffocation. |

How amazing would that make skirmish? Your busy fighting a really close battle when you suddenly notice and bluedot is now trying to escape into orbit with your MCC. Or even better a skirmish game that lasts 30 seconds because a bluedot wants to practice his MCC flying skills and pancakes it.
Although gotta say both MCC's suicide ramming each other would be epic. |
