Where is this? Nearly at 30 pages of feedback now (none of which is feedback of the feedback from Wolfman). Even the sweet nothings from Logibro dried up weeks ago. The community had their opening statements, ball is in CCP's court. |

Information is not really coming through at all for whatever reason. It seems that testing is going slow as it is. Today Wolfman said on IRC that forge guns are having their splash damage reduced and also that swarms have their splash reduced and av nades are being tuned.
It doesn't seem they have gotten very far yet. |

Swarm splash damage nerf? Seems a bit pointless the damage is already tiny for splash and its not like the bloody things ever miss and its the splash that hits you. Hell they can orbit you vehicle till they get a direct hit. |

I am slowly coming to terms with the fact that any balance pass they cobble together will be completely undermined by the game engines lack of ability to draw or render AV troops at range.
Invisible swarms, even if nerfed are still going to be a huge problem. Same goes for FG's.
Range on both needs to be chopped down to effective render distance. If the infantry will only consistently render at 60m, then so be it.
Although reducing splash on the FG is a step in the right direction, they also need to reduce the splash radius. The FG should not be the weapon of choice for area denial against infantry.

I don't understand how they can balance things when we don't even have all of the content we need. Where are Minmitar and Amarr vehicles? There are many core issues with vehicles like rendering and hit detection that remain unaddressed, yet they are going to try to balance this mess of a situation?
Like I have said before, they are in way over their heads. |

I think what is really to blame is CCP has their priorities backwards; they are very focused on making Dust as profitable as possible, how do you do that? Sub-optimal staffing, just enough of a skeleton crew to keep the lights on and be able to show there is some progress being made. With this the game itself suffers and the long run will not end up being as profitable as it could be over the much longer life span it could have. When it comes down to it -They need more developers to be able to produce the content that has been already promised, to ensure future updates to keep the game relevant, and to actively and dynamically apply patches and hot fixes to keep everything balanced..
At this point I think they are struggling to keep up, as made evidence by the string of pushbacks on a game that wasn't complete when they released it.
Tl;dr they are taxed, they will post it when they post it. |

Also everything keeps getting pushed back, and all variants are being removed. This holiday expansion also needs to be shiny considering how rough this holiday season is going to be, competition wise.
This will be the perfect time to introduce them, now that it's only base hulls, and the new skills allow for all races vehicles to be unlocked with just one skill.
Seems like the perfect time for them to drop. |

I imagine they'll want a nice winter expansion to go along with the EVE Winter expansion and to stay relevant in the face of all the new goodies coming out this holiday season. |

Well we could go Uprising 1.7, Uprising 1.8, Uprising 1.9, Uprising 1.10, Uprising 1.11, etc. The devs have already referenced stuff slated for Uprising 1.8, so we're not going to see a named expansion until after that at the earliest. Going by the monthly schedule, Uprising 1.6 in November, Uprising 1.7 in December, Uprising 1.8 in January, so earliest for a new named expansion in February |

One can only wonder what is beyond this "downfall" of a build we have now compared to chromosome. Might as well be a COD DLC by then. |
