I understood that it was mainly about the monocle, and any suggestion that Eve might transition into 'pay to win' or anything else from the 'greed is good' memo. Because, there's no way the Eve community would allow a 'Neo Tengu' or other such AURbought abomination to ruin the risk-vs-reward game. It shook up CCP pretty soundly too, and that's why they've approached the Dust-Eve link with kid-gloves - they want to break new mmo ground, but also they don't want to rock the boat. They dev-blogged about all their grand notions for WIS, with context aware avatar animations and immersive realism - but it turns out that sort of thing is really hard for CCP developers, so instead we have quarantined space apartments and the battle barge waiting room - incomplete features at best.
As for wishes - I really want to see Skirmish 1.0 return. It was a perfect copy of "Rush Mode" from BFBC2 - where you destroy a pair of control points to unluck the next pair of control points, until the defenders have been forced all the way back to their own outpost - and you take over the outpost and the attackers win. Skirmish 2.0 is a whole lot of running in circles hacking the same turrets over and over, and it's less dynamic and less interesting than Skirmish 1.0. |

Those will extend the life of this game by an incredible amount.
I may have deleted DUST but I still care deeply about this game.

full racial everything
better game modes.
bigger battles for PC
able to get my a full team in pubs. corp only game mode. dont wanna stomp new people so they never play again.
goddamn vehicle improvements and locks.
A real eve/dust link.
Player run market
but above all.... the damn devs to get it together and start listening to us and keep the comms open(if all the devs were like foxfour i might still be playing this game). I rather hear the truth about why something is not in the game rather than "soonTM" |

I was always interested in seeing the introduction of an open stock market beyond corporation shares as they stand. Actually creating a functional system in Eve Online with the valuation of various BPO assets, disclosure of corporate audits, and punitive remunerations for market manipulation seems next to impossible to implement. I wonder if its possible in the simpler context of Dust 514. It would make a great money sink, and I would actually like to see more sinks.
