1 Plex in EVE gets you 3,500 EVE Aurum 1 Plex in EVE costs aprox $20 So for $20 you can buy 3,500 EVE Aurum For $20 you can buy 40,000 DUST Aurum
So I propose that all EVE Aurum be multiplied to make them cost the same amount. All EVE players wallets should be multiplied by the same factor. All Aurum on the market should also be multiplied. All Noble exchange item cost should be multiplied as well. This can also be done inversly to DUST by reducing the amount of DUST Aurum and thus increasing it's worth. Now that's the big messy mathy businessy part in order to make make 1 DUST AURUM = 1 EVE AURUM
So what's the point? Aurum exchanges, EVE big wigs can buy Aurum in game send them to DUST where it can be used to buy gear and boosters. What about ISK only things like initiating attacks and clone packs? Those still remain in DUST to prevent large mega EVE corps from having total control.
Aurum is gold so it would make sense to be a universal currency. |

Direct Aurum exchange between Eve player is not a thing and will probably never be one. Same with Dust.
Also this opens up the possibility of bypassing the PSN which sounds wonderful to me as a Australian player (we get gouged for an extra 50% because of.... kangaroos? spiders?) but I expect that if CCP isn't contractually obliged to protect Sony's investment they probably wouldn't do it to maintain good relations. |

I don't see this happening with Eve players. However, aurum for DUST players might get adjusted in the distant future to compensate. |

Maybe if you buy it in bulk, but I think he's talking about buying plex individually. I just looked at the Eve Store and saw that one thirty day plex is selling for $19.99. |

It's simple.
Announce that you will do this:
1. Multiply all AUR costs in Eve by 10x 2. Give everyone in Eve who has cashed in an Aurum token or PLEX 9x the amount, to compensate 3. Any free AUR that players have been gifted stays the same. Use it on clothing now, or watch it be devalued 90%. It's free. Stop whining. 4. Allow AUR transfer from Eve to Dust and vice versa 5. Adjust your internal reports so that AUR transferred from Eve to Dust counts as income for Dust and a loss of income for Eve, and vice versa. 6. There is no step 6. |

dust aurum and eve aurum are completely different things. there will likely never be any aurum exchange between both sides. |

Setting aside what's been said above by several people (Eve and dust aurum are two totally different currencies that just happen to share a name)
Dust to dust direct aurum exchanges are never going to be a thing, for the same reason eve to eve aurum exchanges never were a thing. (So, one can reasonably assume that transfers across the games will never be a thing)
Transferring real money 'digital' currencies themselves is apparently this massive deal legally, or something to that end. However, trading digital goods procured using those currencies is apparently fine, thus all the transfers taking place via a secondary market.
(I have been pushing for CCP to implement an aurum token similar to what they have in eve, which can be traded on the secondary market and aquired via real money purchase for people to sell, which would essentially make them dust's equivalent of a plex) |
