DUST Search - Same problems in this game?

Actually I kinda like this game. I is the first modern video game to present me with a real challenge. And I believe the fact that CCP continues to work on it and the fact that they take requests from players is almost unheard of in a PS3 title.

And finally, I don't think GTA is that good. If I wanted to blow up things, kill, shoot, assualt, and steal, **** and beat up prostitutes, then I would do it IRL. I've played (and beat) GTA 3 and 4. I honestly don't see the appeal.

And so what if Iron Wolf Saber defends the game he likes to play? If I started attacking GTA 5 or GTA Online I bet that you would defend GTA.

And what is wrong with him being CPM? He does a pretty good jpb considering that he and Nova Knives are the only ones I ever see on this forum anymore. (Then again, I don't really check the CPM section)

Where is Cmdr Wang?? CCP Blam has bailed. All of the old fav's that were here at the beginning seemed to have disappeared. it is almost like watching a species go extinct. As a matter of fact it is; the species of BETA veterans. Hell hard core fans like Sha Kharn Clone, Tony Calif and a lot of my former corp-mates have gone the way of the dinosaurs. It is sad. Such promise, but the fule that lit the initial fire seems to be puttering out and turning to ash. This is not to say that DUST is dead, but it is being carted over to the intensive care unit. This is like watching a child with so much promise and potential self destruct and end up dropping out of school and being incarcerated. I truly hope that CCP is able to become the phoenix like they did with EVE, but only time will tell and people's patience is growing increasing thin. Without even the most basic complement of racial equipment to allow for the process of balancing and fine tuning of mechanics to begin, it leaves much doubt and dissent in the community. Without a more active engagement of the CPM with the rest of the community, it only goers to exacerbate the current ailing condition of the game. And when you see a continued disbursement of CCP's already limited resources to too many projects (i.e., Valkyre now is under active development since it's debut) then observers can begin to presume a potential reality; DUST may die. OH well. I gave it a whirl.

And how many player induced changes do you think that you are actually using in the game versus the countless number of arbitrary changes the Devs have implemented when even the community repeatedly responded with public outcry? Are you serious? CCP has a long standing track record of making changes to their games (i.e., see EVE and speak to their player base and look up "Burning Jita") that were never mentioned, let alone requested by their community. Please take a moment and look at the history of the community interaction with CCP and CCP's interactions with their community. They decry some sort of participatory interaction with their player base, but ultimately it becomes a fascist regime imposing its will upon the community.

Squad finder is cool, new maps are ok, 80% of the population still blows, grenade spam is still fkin annoying. Only die by shotguns and nades now. Agreed GTA online is nothing special had more fun playing offline.
